What Dayfend provides
Dayfend provides eligible unknown-sender text filtering, domain-based DNS protection, monitoring of published breaches for your verified email, and an AI-assisted checker for content you choose to submit. Availability depends on your device, settings, network, account access and the providers supporting each feature.
These are security aids, not a guarantee that a message, person, offer, website or transaction is legitimate. Threat lists and published breach records are incomplete. A checker result can be wrong; “No obvious red flags” does not mean safe. DNS cannot inspect individual pages on an otherwise legitimate domain, and some apps or VPNs can use a different resolver. Text protection does not cover every message or messaging app.
Use independent judgment and verify important requests through an official app or contact you already know. Do not rely on Dayfend as a reason to send money, share credentials or disregard a warning from your bank or another responsible organization. Dayfend does not provide identity restoration, emergency response, or professional legal, financial or investment advice.
Your account and content
Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials and use an email you control. A purchase can be linked to the Dayfend account used when it was made; using another email does not automatically transfer an Apple purchase. Contact support if an existing purchase is not linked correctly.
Only enable breach monitoring for your own verified account email. Only submit content you have the right to share. Before using the checker, review the AI disclosure and give explicit permission for the selected content to be processed by OpenRouter and Google. Avoid submitting passwords, authentication codes, full card details and unnecessary personal information.
You retain your rights in your submitted content. You authorize the processing and provider sharing needed to perform the feature you request, as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not use Dayfend to access another person’s private information, interfere with services, bypass reasonable limits or conduct unlawful activity.
Dayfend is not directed to children under 13. If you are not old enough to agree to these terms yourself under the law where you live, a parent or legal guardian must agree and supervise your use.
Subscriptions and renewal
Reference U.S. subscription prices are US$14.99 monthly or US$89 yearly, with no free trial currently offered. The price, currency, billing period and any applicable taxes shown by Apple or Whop before you confirm a purchase govern that purchase. Prices can vary by storefront or region. Web billing periods are 30 days for monthly plans and 365 days for yearly plans; Apple uses the subscription period displayed in its purchase confirmation.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled under the billing provider’s rules. Apple handles App Store purchases and Whop handles web purchases. Dayfend verifies access across your account, but the billing provider remains responsible for processing the payment. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
Manage an Apple subscription in your Apple account’s subscription settings. Manage a Whop web subscription through Dayfend’s web account controls or the provider’s subscription controls. A confirmed period-end cancellation stops future renewal and normally keeps existing access until the end of the paid period. A refund, revoked payment or other valid change can alter access.
Deleting Dayfend, signing out, removing DNS settings or deleting your Dayfend account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel Apple billing separately in Apple’s subscription settings. Check the billing provider shown for your purchase before requesting cancellation.
Cancellation is different from a refund. Refund requests are handled under the billing provider’s terms and applicable law. For an Apple purchase, use Apple’s purchase-support process; contact us about a Whop charge or an access problem. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory refund, cancellation or other consumer rights.
Temporary complimentary or review access is not a paid subscription and ends on its stated expiry date unless extended. It does not establish that a payment or trial has occurred.
Limits and service changes
The checker currently allows up to 20 submitted checks per account per day, with one check at a time. Invalid uploads, interrupted requests, provider limits or an unavailable analysis service can prevent a result. Reasonable rate, size, processing and access limits protect the service; a failed check is not a clean verdict.
Breach checks are scheduled approximately daily while monitoring and access remain active. The first successful check establishes a baseline without an alert; later new breach names can generate notifications. Delivery can be delayed or prevented by provider outages, device settings or network conditions. Breach categories are not a disclosure of your actual leaked values.
We may temporarily limit or suspend functionality when reasonably necessary for security, misuse, maintenance, legal requirements or provider failures. We will communicate material changes affecting paid service as required and honor applicable consumer rights. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or a particular detection rate.
App license and your rights
The iPhone app remains subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement where applicable. These terms describe Dayfend’s service and do not replace mandatory rights under applicable law. Apple and other provider terms apply to their own services.
Dayfend software and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. These terms do not transfer ownership of them to you or ownership of your content to us.
Nothing here excludes a liability or limits a remedy that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms apply to the extent permitted by law. Material updates will be identified by a revised effective date and communicated when required.
